The last couple of days...

The last couple of days have been uneventful but nonetheless, I still got some pics! Enjoy!

sweet love!

Ella and her buddy, Colby
Making funny faces for the camera...not shying away is a BIG deal!

Another of her faces...

She always thinks this is a "funny" face

Chubba Wubba

Big smiles

Ok, so Ella loves eating cereal anytime of the day. She has the bad habit of simply picking up a box of cereal off of the floor of the pantry, grabbing a bowl, and munching on the couch....Well, this night, after dinner mind you, Travis and I were cleaning up the kitchen and didn't even notice her grab a box. The next thing we see is this mess on the living room floor. This box of Raisin Bran was not opened yet but that wasn't going to stop her....

Inspecting the beautiful hibiscus flowers in the backyard

We got her a bubble machine for Valentine's day and she wants to stand in the bubbles all day!

Fun photos

Ella's sitter, Tiffany, and her family came over a couple of weekends ago and her husband, Scott - who is a photographer in his spare time - took some photos of the little miss. He is a pretty talented guy, if you want his info! I only wish she would have smiled...but we all know at this point that she won't do that if a camera is around. Oh well, she is cute regardless. I can't get over how red her hair looks out in the sun.

Action shot!

This is when she was starting to feel sick,
who knew it would be almost two weeks later til she was all better :(

This would be her "I'm shy" face...but I love it.

Look at those eyes...and the hair - frizzy and red - seriously, is she my kid?

I thought this was a cool pic...and he added fun swirlies too.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Wanted to wish everyone a happy love day! Travis and I had an entire night to ourselves last night. We went out to eat, and then saw Slumdog Millionaire.....great movie! Ella even stayed the night at my mom's so we both had a wonderful night's sleep and woke up late. It was great...but we missed her! Hope your day is fantastic and full of love :)

My Adams Family

Last night I had the work ladies over for food, drinks, games, and lots of talking (nothing that could have been said or done on an elementary school campus, thats for sure)! Our dearest mentor, Dr. Diana Carry, was in town for another professional inservice so we had our traditional ladies night at my house this time. It was lots of fun! In this pic: (clockwise) Me, Jenn, Diana, Lori, Gloria, Fae, and Julie...love you ladies!

Funny Pic...

I just think this picture of Ella and Hurley tells it all. She tortures this cat and he lets her. Hurley would bite anybody else that tried this but he is so passive around Ella. Just cracks us up!

Help me!!!

Quick trip to Flag...

We took a quick (24 hours) trip to Flagstaff this weekend to visit Adam, Katelyn, and Kona and to play in the snow. This was a first for Ella so we weren't sure if she would love it or hate it (we were guessing "hate it") and she LOVED it. The snow was quite icy but there was plenty for her to play in just outside Adam's place. It took awhile but she also warmed up to Kona (the puppy) and then couldn't stay away from her. Although it was quick, we had a lot of fun and enjoyed our visit. We definitely need to do it more often.

We were shocked she kept her hat and gloves on.

Ella and Daddy making a snowman (Ella's ONLY reason for playing in the snow)

She loved her snowman!

Soon enough Kona will be a lot bigger than this snowman.

I love you so much, I just want to SQUEEZE you!

The closest thing to a cousin!

I guess for now this is the closest thing to a niece (and a cousin for Ella) that I will have anytime soon. Adam and Katelyn got a puppy last week. Her name is Kona and she is a lab/rottweiler mix. How they think they will take care of this dog between their two apartments is beyond me, but they are so excited! I am excited for them....just a few steps closer to marriage...hopefully! No pressure Adam :) We definitely need to go up and visit the newest member of our family!
