Random...

I figured I better post before we go on our trip to Missouri this weekend and then have all sorts of other pics and stories. So here is another post full of the randomness called April and May!

Late in April we went to Peter Piper Pizza to celebrate our friends, Sonya and Ty's daughter, Ava's 1st B-day. It was Ella's first time ever going to a place like this and she wasn't quite sure what to do but she knew it was exciting. She loved driving this car the best...because it didn't actually move...
...when things did move, she was freaked out...look at that face!
Ella has the cutest friends...this is Taylor :)

All that pizza and play caused instant sleep the moment we left the parking lot

The beginning of May, we took Ella to see "Sesame Street Live". She was freaked out for about the first 10 minutes or so and clung to my lap like a leach but slowly loosened up to eventually sitting in her own seat. We are glad she was not one of those kids that just wants to run down the aisle...fearful is good sometimes :)

Everyone performed that night! All of Ella's best friends (as she would call them)
Before moving to her own seat she had to have a moment on Dad's lap too.

I had our Annual Adams Staff End-of-the-Year Party.....and what's the Adams Staff without Tequila shots??? This was one round of many.....

Fun friends and co-workers (nadine, gayle, jenn, and gloria-the tequila provider)

My best co-workers (and friends)...Fae and Jenn!

Lots of chillin...we tried not to talk about our students but there is no getting around it...
that must have led to another round of shots :)
Disclaimer: I was not taking part, just taking pictures :)
speaking of students...here is my sweet class (I can say that now that it is the last week of school) no, really they were a great class and I will miss them! Too bad not everyone was there for the pic...about 6 kiddos are missing (but that beats my 39 proposed for next year...gotta love AZ education)
My cousin, Andrew, was in town this past weekend...and Amanda and I had to pose with him! Great to see you Andy!
My mom and her Godson...

Jam packed post

OK, so it has been over a month since I have posted anything and longer since I posted any pictures of us. So you're in for a long haul if you plan to read this entire thing. I still can't get over how many pictures I take and still miss important things. We have been busy here and there and enjoying the beautiful Arizona Spring weather. Ella is getting so big...talking like mad and giving her opinion about everything...so much now that she stutters because she wants to spit it all out too fast. We are s-l-o-w-l-y working on potty training but I am still avoiding it until I am on break....This post seriously casts over a months worth of time starting with the most recent events...here goes nothing!
Travis' 31st b-day was this past Wednesday. We had all the family over for dinner and cake and Travis got a Wii and all the accessories from all of us. I don't know what I am getting myself into by buying him a game system (his first since his Sega). I have been quite lucky in that aspect but I figured the Wii will entertain all of us.

The family...boy, do I look tired and the party hadn't even started yet :( Teaching has been killing me these days...we all have "end-of-the-year fever"

Ella and Daddy

Ella had her friend Brooklyn over the other night while their dads watched the UFC fights.

Brookly Joy Stephenson...almost one-year old.

Ella got this princess set from one of the many Easter Bunny visits.

Playing at Uncle Ray's on Easter afternoon.

Jumping rope with cousins (mommy's cousins) Kyleigh and Amanda.

She was pretty good at twirling the rope.

Uncle Cody giving Ella a ride on the big puppy - it reminded me of the big mythical dog on "The Neverending Story"

All dressed up for Easter but refusing to give me a look.

Hunting for Easter eggs in the backyard...in her raggamuffin jammies.

Look mom, the Easter bunny sure didn't make these hard to find...

Yeah, the Easter bunny brought me "Bolt"!

Ooooh, I love the Easter bunny!
She cleans up her messes....
The Easter bunny brings all these wonderful things and all they want to play with is the grass.

Ella's new favorite thing...MONEY!

Her first of three Easter Bunny baskets....this one came from Mimi and Papa the night before....just to spread out the love!
One cold, rainy morning...a great opportunity to wear the very unnecessary, but too cute, raincoat and umbrella Mimi bought for Ella.

I guess Ella's puppy was thirsty...

Wild woman....

Too cool for words...

Pretty girl...

Ella playing catch with Kyleigh...
Four generations...Mom, Grandma, Ella, and Me

My cousins Amanda and Joe....Joe was in town from NY for Spring Break
Aunt Donna, Ella, and Joe shopping at SanTan Villiage

One day during Spring Break we played at the pool at The Pointe Tapatio with the whole family...thanks Mary (my mother-in-law)!

Ella and Daddy
Spring Break play-date at Jenn's with all the teacher and former-teacher's kiddos.Playing in the bubbles...

Caeden and Ella eatin lunch
Ok, so do you think we need a bike seat for Ella????

Ella and Daddy on their bike ride
All ready to go outside and play...

Ella got to my mom's lipstick...just beautiful!

Ok, that's all....thanks for reading! I hope to post more often, especially once school is out :)

Dream Concert

Yes, that's right, Billy Joel and Elton John in one place. My mom and I got to go to their concert on Thursday night and it was everything I dreamed it could be. These are not my own pics as our seats weren't this good but we still got to be in the same room with two of my all time favorites. As soon as they came out and starting playing "Your Song" together, I started to cry. They dueled on the pianos for about an hour and then they each performed individually for an hour each and then we got another hour of them together...yes, four whole hours. It was amazing. We even bought $40 t-shirts to commemorate! Anyways, you all probably think I am a big, old dork because I loved it so much. I could listen to Billy Joel sing forever :) They ended with Piano Man and the audience sang along the whole time...ahhh, it just makes me smile :)

Love him! He is still as good as he has always been....he even played the guitar for a few songs (We Didn't Start the Fire and Still Rock and Roll to Me)
