Life is good...

I just have to say that spending the last 7.5 weeks at home with my family has been wonderful. Travis and I have both had the opportunity to enjoy this time together with the kids and will continue to do so for 6.5 more weeks. We know this is the only time in our lives that we will be able to do this and we are taking full advantage. Not sure why I haven't been blogging more and just downloaded like 150 pics onto my computer. Here is a long update of what we have been up to since Christmas...

Ella received golf clubs from Papa Mantle...as long as she swings the clubs outside only, we're good. We know Papa Mantle has been dying to buy her this set of clubs since she was born and this Christmas, it finally happened.

When Adam and Katelyn were in town, we ventured out to the Natural History Museum in downtown Mesa. Ella was so excited to see the dinosaurs (and named each one, "Little Foot", "Cera", "Sharp Tooth", and "Ducky"...you know, the technical terms) and Uncle Adam was so excited to pan for gold (and old pastime from trips to the Southwest Museum as a kid)

Happy New Year....our little cutie!

With this beautiful weather it would be a shame to NOT go on a picnic in the park...we hope to do more of this. Discovery Park near our house is awesome.

Look at these blue eyes----he totally looks like my bro in this pic

One of his favorite places to be is his changing table...you can always get a smile out of him here.

Look at his hand in motion....such a squirmer.

He found my finger one night and would not let go....

Jenn and Fae came over for a visit....always nice to see good friends.

Ella loves playing with her little bro and he gets the biggest smile on his face when she's around

Are you ready for some football?

We took a trip up to Flagstaff last week to visit Adam and Katelyn and so Ella could play in the snow...it was short lived because Jonah actually had a pretty bad cold and cough but we got some snow time in. I bundled him up pretty good for our 5 minutes outdoors.

Ella had a blast...as expected. Hopefully we will go back up soon and get some real snow time in.

Aww....Uncle Adam, you're so sweet. (or really he was saying, feed me, feed me, feed me because that is all he really cares about :)

I know Ella has really enjoyed having us home with her and it has been so great to not be exhausted and get to spend good quality time with her....finger painting is always fun.
